I hate not having anything to look forward to.

I hate looking forward to something only to have it blocked by everything else.

If you had to make a list of the things you could do, today, and tomorrow, and the day after, to make yourself a happier person, how long would that list be?

I think we need to go for a walk when I visit Philly. We're in similar positions, and I'm not real big on this whole Adult thing. Life was better with summer vacations and a complete Change every fall.

Which is really part of it, I think- leave a human to its own devices and it's less inclined to go out and diversify (defensively) than it would if you force it to do something new every so often (externally).
